Guesthouse with 6 rooms in a lush natural setting and dramatic ocean views. Large shared patio area for socializing as well as private patios and secluded gardens. In the tropical garden there are lounge chairs, a shady palapa and a salt water pool. Located above Playa Camaron, Playa Zipolite is a ten minute walk down the jungle path. All rooms with private baths, AC, cable TV, safe, Wifi. Some with kitchenette. Gay owned. They also own the nearby Maquil Villas.

The new owners at Casa Sol, Jorge and Craig have done a huge remodel in record-breaking time. It's gone from 4 to 8 rooms (currently 2 are occupied by manager and owners), a 2nd larger pool, and an expanded common area. All tastefully done. Charming hosts. Only drawback is that the uncomfortably close Aikea has turned out to be a massive modular structure ironically not unlike an Ikea product (Shplatt). I'm confident that Craig and Jorge will come up with some tasteful landscaping to create a barrier.

Just perfect!
Joe and Martin have created a place that is absolutely perfect! First, they are amazing hosts, warm and helpful. Then there are the facilities: hot water (almost no one has this in Zipolite surprisingly), A/C (although I didn't feel the need to use it, it cooled off nicely at night and the rooms get nice breezes), nicely equipped kitchenette, lots of furnishings in the room so places to unpack etc, beach/pool towels, great morning muffins and juice, great common area and just way too many other details and small touches to mention! My only regret is that they only had 2 nights available and I could have stayed a month!
