Seems that La Sirena was operating without a license for dancing boys and last week the police shut them down. Not just the gay room at the back, but the entire bar. I went by last Friday and the metal grates that roll down to lock up companies were closed. I went by last night to see if they had reopened, and they had not. Still closed under police order. I do not know if they will reopen, and if so, what the bar will be like but I would say their days of dancing boys is over. Open and close in less than a month. Gotta get those permits if you are going to run a gay club.

I have been to La Sirena a couple of times. I was there Saturday night for the dancing boy show. There were very few customers. Only 3 tables, including mine. The guy I was with did not like the dancing boys at all and after only 2 of them [there were to be five] we left and went to another place. The place is the "back room" of a regular cantina. A bit off the beaten path and that might be why they don't have more customers.
