Veracruz state has a number of different cities which have attractions for the LGBT community. We've split have information for the following cities:

• Veracruz and Boca del Rio - The state's largest city, officially called Heroica Veracruz, has a huge gay scene. The nearby beach resort of Boca del Río is also popular with LGBT travelers.

• Xalapa - The state capital Xalapa is a lively student city with many options for LGBT visitors.

• Coatzacoalcos & Minatitlán - The state's third largest city is a port city on the Gulf coast has some options for the LGBT community.

• Poza Rica - the fourth largest city is primarily an oil industry town but also has some LGBT nightlife options.

• Córdoba & Orizaba - these neighboring cities are the and the fifth and sixth largest in the state and each has some LGBT nightlife options.
