Marchers fill the street for the annual gay pride parade in Puebla

Puebla state's economy and LGBT scene are mainly found in Puebla city and in the suburb of Cholula. But there are a few options further afield.

• Puebla & Cholula - The vast majority of LGBT venues in Puebla state are to be found in the state capital of Puebla de Zaragoza and the adjoining city of San Andrés Cholula.

• Tehuacán, San Martín Texmelucan, Atlixco, Izucar and Zacapoaxtla - The rest of the state is covered here. There are a few options for the LGBT community in these other smaller cities.
