Con la aprobación de reformas a las leyes secundarias que estaban pendientes, las parejas del mismo sexo ya podrán casarse en la entidad sin necesidad de recurrir para ello al amparo de la justicia federal, como lo venían haciendo.

The state congress in Yucatan passed the laws necessary to implement equal marriage rights in the state. Same-sex couples will now be able to marry in the state without having to resort to the federal courts, as they had been doing.
