Con 20 votos a favor y cinco en contra fue aprobada la Ley del Matrimonio Igualitario por el Congreso del Estado de Yucatán, está ley fue rechazada en dos ocasiones en votaciones secretas consideradas ilegales por la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación. Además, una hora antes el estado se convirtió en la cuarta entidad en prohibir y sancionar las terapias de conversión. ¡El amor gana otra vez!

Equal marriage and prohibition of conversion therapy approved in Yucatán.

With a vote a 20-5, the Yucatán state congress has approved a law giving equal marriage rights to same sex couples. This law was previously rejected twice in secret votes which the national supreme court rules was unconstitutional. And the state also voted to ban conversion therapy, becoming the fourth state to do so. Love wins again!
