LGBT places for Tuxtla Gutiérrez, San Cristóbal de las Casas, Tapachula, Palenque, Comitán, Tapachula

The capital and largest city of Chiapas, Tuxtla Gutiérrez, (or just Tuxtla usually) has the most significant gay community and the only exclusively gay nightlife options. For visitors to Chiapas it tends to be more of a transportation hub than a destination in itself. There is an annual pride march at the end of June.
San Cristóbal de las Casas is one of the Pueblos Magicos (Magical Towns) of Mexico with a strong presence of both tourists and expats. The scene is very open minded, with people from all over the world visiting and living there including many gay couples. There are a lot of bars and restaurants including now a gay bar and pretty much everywhere is gay friendly and you can see gay couples and groups of gay friends walking around the city free with no need to hide anything. Their pride march is also in June.
Though they may not have gay bars, other communities of Chiapas have significant gay communities as well. There are pride parades in Arriaga, Comitán, Tapachula and Palenque.
