Not sure what you saw Chris but California's is definitely still open! Perhaps it wasn't open on the particular Wednesday you visited, not sure. The business hours shown on the site are directly imported from the business' facebook page so it's possible the hours are out of date if they don't update them. I was visiting from the states and I went here on a Friday night, very late, after midnight, and it was a great crowd (lots of people), great music, and inexpensive drinks. As it is a very fun place, I can't wait to go back!
